Inter-house swimming galas

The day started with Years 1 and 2 displaying their swimming skills in a series of races such as freestyle, noodle kick, treasure hunt and 'The Big Splash'. With less than 4 points difference Marlow were victorious in Year 1, with Year 2 having a very convincing win for Augustine. Years 5 & 6 pupils took the gala to a much more competitive level. Alongside the traditional swimming races; where some amazing individual performances were seen, were a number of crowd pleasing events such as the T-Shirt relay and the 'Save The Teacher'. In Year 6, Chaucer received a very well deserved 1st place, and for Year 5 Augustine finished in poll position for the 2nd time. With temperatures rising, the final session of the day went to Years 3 & 4. For both Year groups the squad played a vital role in deciding the end points. In Year 4, Augustine received another 1st place and Year 3, Chaucer also had another win to finish the day.  A hot, tiring and incredibly enjoyable day was had by all. The mighty Augustine came out top of the table!
