Kent College Dubai received the great news yesterday that the whole school can now open for business after the Dubai Municipality issued a completion certificate subsequent to carrying out its final inspection of the senior school building and the school grounds.
While there are still other inspections and approvals to be obtained before the buildings can be used fully, the DM certificate means that the process of installing furniture, resources, catering facilities and testing all the IT and other systems can now begin.
Announcing this exciting news to parents, our Principal Patrick Lee-Browne wrote:
‘I would like to thank you for keeping faith and staying patient while the building work was completed – I’m sure you will agree when you see it that it has been worth the wait! I would also like to thank Tim Greenwood and the whole of the construction project team, and Tony Elzoghbi and the team at MHK, for their achievement in reaching this conclusion. Their experience and energy have been key to the success of the project, and we have been very fortunate in having such a great group of people working for us and with us.’
The Principal will soon be inviting current parents in for tours of the whole school, while for prospective parents there is an Open Day on Thursday 23 February when families will have the chance to see the whole school in action.
