As Kent College Dubai prepares to open its doors to pupils on August 28th, the staff and pupils alike are eager for term to commence. The full complement of staff have been engaged in an intensive induction programme focusing on Kent College ethos, systems and school policies.
While staff prepare for the pupils’ arrival, parents have been busy buying their children’s uniform and many have commented on how smart they look in their Kent College Dubai school kit.
The buildings are undergoing the final refinements as they undergo the final compliance inspections, and the next stage of the teachers’ induction includes training in the latest Promethean smart boards, to ensure every child experiences the innovative and collaborative learning that will be at the heart of the school’s approach to education.
Dr. David Lamper, the Executive Head of Kent College Canterbury, and members of his Senior Management Team are visiting this week to meet the staff of Kent College Dubai and reaffirm the strong links between both schools. As he addressed the staff this morning he commented that “we are delighted to take part in the comprehensive and innovative induction programme for Kent College Dubai and to share in the energy, enthusiasm and expertise of the impressive new staff team”.
